No Sense Monday

My description of Monday: one of those days that require rambling because nothing else makes sense.

*You love to write.  You write all the time.  Then one day you finally come to the realization, I may not be good at writing.  Yes, it's a dream, a passion.  But do I have the talent?  Wake up call!  What now?  My husband says, "a professional blogger, what is that, they get paid?"  Again, I'm not creative enough.  Nor do I really know the answer.

*Tips For My Daughters:  Take pregnant pictures.  Don't be afraid to take pregnant belly pictures.  One day you'll want to look back on those, especially on those days that you miss them being in there!  I thought I was too fat for pictures.  But now I wish I had some pregnant pictures to look at.  No matter how many times I vomitted, I still miss feeling the kicks and tumbles.  I wish I had those pictures to share with you girls someday.

*We just passed an ambulance with its sirens on. 'C' said, "oh no, I hope someone didn't get killed by a grenade". He is fascinated with everything army right now.

*How long does it take to learn how to play the piano?  My 9 year old 'R' has been taking piano lessons for about six months.  Her instructor would like her to be play Silent Night at a performance in December.  I try to help her practice. But she gets frustrated easy and cries. The instructor says she is getting better.  But sometimes I have to wonder.  I keep reminding myself she is only nine, give her time.  I continually praise and encourage her.  Any tips, pointers, suggestions, comments?

*I'm attempting a low carb life style starting today.  Not no carbs, just low carbs.  So far, it's not fun.  Haha.  I already miss the carbs.  Instead of thinking about the things I can eat, I can't stop thinking about the things I can't eat.

As for piano lessons? I played the trumpet from 6th-12th grade. I hated every minute of it, but there were days that I had so much fun playing. Encouragment & praise are key, I hated it because I played with a bunch of guys who were not supportive or down me for playing a 'boy' instrument! Soon, 'R' will love it, just don't rush it.
