This sign has been trending and causing a bit of a stir. I absolutely love it. I can't stand mean people. I can't stand little league parents that take the game way too serious. If they don't win it is the end of the world. I'm the parent that thinks it's cute when my t-baller runs the wrong way around the bases. Personally, I think there is too much emphasis on sports these days anyways. I enjoy sports. I love watching sports. But God, grades and family take precedence... just sayin'. I keep hearing the same argument, "this is how you teach them to be a man". Are you kidding me? Take your son to church and teach him to be a real man!

here here !! I second the motion. Soccer has taken up all of my sons time and he had no where else to grow except on the soccer field.
ReplyDeleteI think church does kids good They need to hear the stories and meet other children who do other things as well.
Completely agree!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments!
ReplyDeleteI just posted thie on my facebook page last night and on our sports associations page. We have a huge problem with parents over reacting. I hate to see a child come off the field with tears in their eyes because their parent has been fussing at them.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
ReplyDeleteLove this sign. I remember when my son played baseball, I couldn't believe the things parents would yell at the kids. They really got into the game and losing was a major crime. This was past the t-ball age, but the way some of the kids were talked to was still uncalled for.
