'K' Days From the Beginning

"Every day we have together is a blessing. I am so proud of you." My daughter 'K' is an amazing young lady. She is an intelligent person with a good head on her shoulders. She became my daughter when I married her Daddy. I'll never forget how nice she was to me the day I met her. She wasn't at all shy. We connected immediately. The love I felt for her was incredible. I had no idea you could love some one that much. When I told my mom about this she said "now you are a mother". The first time she called me mom was a moment I will always carry with me. I never asked her to or told her she had to. I figured if she wanted to, she would. But if she didn't, I would understand that too. Even now when she calls me mom, it melts my heart a little. At 22 years old, she is every bit the woman I had hoped she would become. I am definitely a very proud Mom. I pray my younger three kids will follow in their big sisters foot steps.
